Historic Hyde Park

Inspired by the site's historic details, this design weaves the client’s love of pattern and geometry into a layered, dynamic landscape. Boldly patterned hardscapes in the front and back create a striking foundation, while custom metalwork adds a sculptural element to the space.

Lush plantings of trees, shrubs, and perennials shape intimate garden enclosures and outdoor rooms, seamlessly blending structure with softness. A wraparound deck and built-in grill encourage effortless entertaining, while an expansive lawn invites play and relaxation.

Above it all, a custom-designed roof deck offers a flexible retreat for both gathering and gardening. Movable cedar vegetable beds on rolling casters allow for easy reconfiguration, ensuring the space can transform at a moment’s notice.
