The homeowners sought a vibrant, inviting transformation for both the front and rear of their city home, creating a striking new identity for the facade and a multi-functional outdoor space for cooking, dining, and lounging.

In the front yard, a bold 5-foot custom acrylic pink heart sculpture rises gracefully from a cloud of boxwoods, offering a warm welcome to the neighborhood. The sculpture is thoughtfully separated from the bustling sidewalk by a refined stone curb and museum-style bar rail, creating both visual impact and protection.

At the rear, we revitalized an existing pergola frame, adding new louvers, twinkling fairy lights, and cascading hanging planters brimming with ferns during the warmer months, while evergreens provide seasonal interest in winter.

A formerly standalone banquette bench was reimagined as a connected bench-planter hybrid, with a shared soil volume nurturing two flourishing wisteria vines. This unique feature allows the vines to thrive in the rooftop environment.
