This client wanted to make the most of her small city lot, with multiple zones for entertaining, dining, and lounging in relative privacy.

A new raised deck offers an elegant transition to an unusually high rear door, while a wooden slat wall provides privacy at the dining table.  A new bluestone patio and pergola provide an intimate space for gathering around a gas fire table.  The site is enclosed by a new cedar fence, with a slim row of hornbeam trees lining the south edge.
