Taking cues from historic details found on site, we explored the client's love of patterns and graphics to layer new forms in the landscape.  New metalwork, new boldly-patterned hardscape in front and rear, create a striking backdrop for flexible outdoor living.

New trees, shrubs, and perennials create garden enclosures and outdoor rooms.  A new wraparound deck and outdoor grill allow for free-flowing entertaining, and a large lawn provides maximum room for running around and playing games.

 

A new roof deck with custom cedar, movable vegetable garden beds on rolling casters provides a space for productive gardening, while allowing the space to be rearranged on a moment's notice to accommodate larger gatherings.
